Selection and Training of Counselors
The training process includes required reading, audio/video tape instruction, class participation, lectures, role playing, co-counseling, and supervised counseling. For information about the Counseling Ministry and Training contact the Director of Faith Center at (828) 390-0867.
Appointments and Fees
Appointments will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, giving priority to emergency situations, EBIFC members and referrals from clergy. No fees are charged for counseling services; however, love offerings to the Counseling Ministry are accepted. Fees are collected for various assessments, profiles, seminars, and workshops according to our agreements with those who supply test materials.
Compatibility Assessments
Understanding personality, temperament and family of origin compatibility will greatly help in your development of healthy relationships with others.
EBIFC counseling Ministry uses a variety of relationship tools such as Taylor-Johnson Temperament Assessment, DISC Temperament Profile, MMPI Search Assessment for individuals.
In addition, for couples we offer PREPARE and ENRICH which are accurate in predicting marital success. These assessments are accompanied by extensive conversational counseling in vital areas of married life.
